Description
This is an overview of string instruments, lutes, harps and zithers traditionally played in different regions of Africa.
13 instruments are featured and played either in solo or in concert: Kamelengoni Harp; Ngoni, Kaban and Guimbri Lutes; Kora Harp, Ennanga Harp; Nzaa Koua Stick Zither; Krar, Endongo, Tambur and Nyatiti Lyres; Nanga Zither; Adungu Harp.
The instruments are presented during concerts and interviews with musicians and musicologists.
